Andersons Creek Golf Club:

A Most Unique PEI Golf Experience.

It is no secret that Prince Edward Island is dotted with a tremendous variety of great golf courses. What most might not know is that the golf on the island is not just of the breezy seaside variety. Andersons Creek Golf Club, located in Stanley Bridge, is a Graham Cooke design opened to high acclaim in 2003. Built on a wildly undulating piece of property, the course is routed up, down and along hillsides. The design features many well tucked green sites, partially blind approaches and the customary mounding seen in numerous Cooke layouts. The namesake Andersons Creek provides the setting for many of the most memorable holes on the course. This sister course to Green Gables is a wonderfully challenging golf course and provides a truly unique PEI golf experience.

Feature Holes Descriptions:

Elevation change is big part of the experience at Andersons Creek. Number 3 is a hole that brings a lot of elevation and wow factor early in your round. Perched high on the tee deck the fairway humps and bumps down a severe slope that end at a narrow ribbon of rough short of the creek. The further you run down the slope of the fairway the more challenging the uphill carry is back to the putting surface. So pick your yardage for your approach carefully. Hole 13 is a tactical delight with the creek and a wide buffer of hazard between the fairway and green. The par 5 14th climbs uphill the entire way past nasty bunkers left in the landing area to the highly perched green protected by a bunker right and fall away back. The final cross of Anderson’s Creek is found on hole 15. Stepped tee decks cut into the hillside are level with the distant green. The intimidating drop and out of bounds left make this a tee shot one you won’t forget.
