Graham Cooke's Tribute to the PEI's Scotish Heritage.

Another of the terrific collection of Cavendish area courses is Eagle's Glenn, a Graham Cooke design situated on 300 rolling acres. In tribute to the Scotish heritage of Cavendish, each of the holes is named for one of the original immigrant Scot families to the area. Featuring plentiful mounding, hidden pot bunkers and terrific playability, the course has plenty of roll to it. Generous landing areas off the tee are book ended with greens with plenty of pin placements and slope. Conditioning at Eagle’s Glenn is a highlight of your round. Lush fairways, smooth carpets of greens are surrounded by thick rough and playable treelines for those a little errant. A favorite for playability and its creative routing, Eagle’s Glenn is a Cavendish pleasure.

Feature Holes Descriptions:

The course has a blend of precise and beastly holes. The risk / reward 7th plays uphill to a plateau fairway interrupted by a series of swales and pot bunkers swallowing anything struck less than perfectly. The raised greensite is filled with slope and not an easy roll. The 8th is a beastly par 5 with a big whack needed to cross the valley and reach the elevated fairway. Pinching traps and an elevated green make this a true 3 shot challenge. The front side finishes with a brute of a par 4. Playing uphill the entire way, a mighty drive and fairway wood is needed to stand a chance to get home in two. Hole 13 is a tricky short par 4, playing as a slight dogleg right the best way to attack it is to avoid the pot bunkers on the right and give yourself a flip wedge to the small green.
