Feature Holes Descriptions:
The first few holes play up from the clubhouse and along the rugged slopes until you get to Hole 5. The number 1 handicap hole is a downhill dogleg right with a tight landing area. The uphill approach must cross a rock filled creek bed guarding the green right and front. The 6th is the ultimate hero tee shot. Standing on the tee with a huge drop in elevation with crossing bunkers tempts you to let the big stick loose. A daring drive can set you up for a little flip to the sloped green. The dogleg left 14th is best played down the left to shorten the approach to the large uphill plateau green that plays somewhat blind due to the elevation change. The closing hole is a beautiful risk/reward par 5. Playing downhill a solid drive sets you up for a chance to get home in two to finish with a birdie. A conservative lay up will leave you with a wedge to this tricky, large green protected by fall aways and bunkers.
