Raptor Bay Golf Club:

Nature and Golf in Perfect Haromony.

This beautiful Raymond Floyd designed layout is part of the Hyatt Coconut Point Resort complex located between Fort Myers and Naples. A long Par 5 from the coastal waterfront of Estero Bay and surrounded by lush, natural areas, the course is proud to be the world’s first resort course certified as a Gold Signature Sanctuary by Audubon International. The design features seven different teeing options and presents a formidable challenge with many forced carries off tees and green sites with considerable slopes. Each nine, The Hawk and Osprey, has its moniker for the namesake Raptors that are visible circling overhead throughout your round.  This facility is a terrific addition to any golfing itinerary in Southwest Florida.

Feature Holes Descriptions:

On a course focused with a harmony between golf and nature, Floyd did some of his best work on the Par three holes. The layout, featuring five one-shoters has a great blend of length, trouble and shot shaping to navigate your way through these holes. Hawk Number Two is a stern test early in your round, with a long iron to a raised green. A back right pin protected by sand and jungle gives you all you can handle. Hawk Four features a large green with a raised front and huge swale in the middle making anything less than a perfect tee shot a putting adventure. Osprey Four is the longest of the Par 3’s presents an amphitheatre of tees around a pond to a raised green and all carry over water. Osprey Six is the shortest hole, but no easy feat as the green slopes away from you and anything left is sure to find a watery grave.
